Cal Performances Announces 2009-2010 Season; Tickets Go On Sale April 22

Tickets go on sale at noon Wednesday, April 22 for the 2009-2010 season at Cal Performances in Berkeley, which features four jazz concerts among the season's offerings of dance, theater, music and more.

The 2009-2010 season also marks the final farewell for outgoing Cal Performances director Robert Cole, who's led the performing arts organization for 23 years.

Performers for the upcoming jazz series include:

· September 22, 2009: Wynton Marsalis & the Lincoln Center Jazz Orchestra
· October 17, 2009: The Wayne Shorter Quartet
· November 21, 2009: Taylor Eigsti & Julian Lage
· April 24, 2010: Pat Metheny
