The
Montalvo Center for the Arts, located on 175
stunning acres in the Saratoga hills, has become a popular
spot for summer concerts. Scenic vistas, winding trails
through the foothills of the Santa Cruz Mountains, and
world-class entertainment make Montalvo a must-do event
for South Bay jazz fans.
Once
again, Montalvo is shying away from its afternoon lawn
concerts (too many noise complaints from the neighbors, it
seems), so they've moved their jazz concerts indoors to
the smaller, 1150-seat Garden Theatre. The music, however,
remains top-notch.
